Welcome to the Araliya website. Our website is intended to provide you with information about our company and our services and offers you the opportunity to make bookings in our apartments and holiday homes or to purchase vouchers for the services of our apartments. So that you know what happens to your personal data, we would like to explain to you how we use it and what decisions you can make about how your data is collected and used. Araliya (“Araliya”, “us” or “we”) is responsible for the processing of data on this site. Further information can be found in the legal notice.
1. Collection and use of data
1.1 When you visit our website, our web server temporarily collects technical details of the device from which you are visiting our website, such as the type of browser used, the operating system installed or the device settings. In addition, we record your IP address and, if you access our website, e.g. with your mobile phone, also the individual code number of your device (so-called unique device identifier). Our web server continues to collect certain data that the web browser program you are using automatically transmits.
This includes
– the name of your internet service provider,
– the address of the website from which you are visiting us,
– the bottom of the Araliya website you are visiting, as well
– Date and duration of your visit.
1.2 Our website is also an information platform through which we would like to answer your inquiries. In order to be able to make the contact more personal, you have the possibility to give us your name, your address and your e-mail address via the contact form. Of course, you can also only receive information using an email address.
1.3 If you place orders or bookings via our website or otherwise (e.g. by telephone), we usually take personal information such as name, address, any desired shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card number and bank details as part of the ordering process on. If you create a customer account here, we will also ask you to assign an individual password.
1.4 During your stay, we also save other data, such as information about bills in our service area or about wellness stays, as well as about your criticism, comments and requests.
2. Purposes for which we use your data
We use your personal data to enable you to visit our website (connection establishment) and to create anonymous usage statistics on the basis of the automatically transmitted data (see section 1.1), which enable us to understand the use of our website and to use it as required and to design it in a way that is more appropriate for the target group.
(1) In addition, the data is processed in order to answer your contact inquiries, to carry out orders or bookings and to align our services with your wishes. In addition, we give you access to our media database if you have requested it.
(2) If necessary, we can also use your data to enforce our rights or the rights of third parties.

3. Passing on your data to third parties
3.1 In connection with the processing of orders and bookings, we transmit personal data to service providers who support us in processing. This applies in particular to providers of credit card billing services, insofar as the data transfer is necessary to process the payment.

We use cookies (_ga: Google-Analytics / _gat: Google-Analytics / _gid: Google-Analytics / cookieconsent_status) on our website. The main purpose of this is to make your online visit more pleasant and individual.
4.1 Cookies are small, often encrypted text files that are stored in your browser directory. Cookies make it possible to identify you as a specific customer and to save your personal preferences when using our website, as well as technical information. The main advantage for you is that you do not have to re-enter the information contained in the cookies every time you visit our website. On their own, cookies do not necessarily contain or reveal personal information. However, if you enter personal information on our website, this can be linked to the data stored in the cookies. However, operators of other websites have no access to these files.
4.2 We also use Google Analytics for our website. This is a web analysis service offered by Google Inc., with which detailed statistics about the traffic of a website and the traffic sources can be generated. We only use Google Analytics for statistical purposes, for example to understand how many users have clicked on certain product information. Google Analytics is based on cookie technology and collects information about your use of our website, including your IP address. So that no user identification takes place via the IP address, we have implemented a special code that ensures that your IP address is only recorded in a shortened and thus anonymized form. It is no longer possible to identify individual users using this shortened IP address. The information collected by Google Analytics is forwarded to Google Inc. based in the USA. Goolge Inc. is itself certified under the US Privacy Shield in order to guarantee an appropriate level of data protection under EU law. You can prevent this information from being collected and forwarded to Google Inc. by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4.3 The basic settings of most browsers allow cookies to be accepted. You can completely switch off the use of cookies in the settings of your respective browser program, refuse the setting of certain cookies or be informed about each setting of a cookie. Further information on these settings can be found, for example, under the “Help” section of your browser. For example, since the login function for your customer account is based on cookie technology, it is possible that some areas of our website will not function properly if your browser is set to refuse cookies.
5. Retention of data
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to provide the services you require or to comply with statutory retention periods.
5.1 Data that is collected while surfing our website (see section 1.1) and that can legally be considered personal data (such as the full IP address) is stored for a period of 14 days, unless an exceptional incident , such as a hacker attack, requires a longer storage period.
5.2 Personal data that arise during a booking will be stored for a maximum of 10 years. If you subscribe to a newsletter, we will save the relevant data at least until you unsubscribe.
5.3 Data without personal reference can be stored permanently.
6. Your rights
6.1 To view, delete, update or restrict your personal data that we have collected via our website or otherwise, you can contact us at any time by e-mail or by telephone. You will find our contact details at the end of this guideline and in the legal notice. The same applies if you have further questions about the data we hold about you or how it is used.
6.2 If you would like your data to be deleted, it will be removed from our systems immediately, unless we are obliged to continue to store your data, for example due to retention obligations under tax or commercial law. In such a case, we will ensure that your data is blocked for other purposes.
6.3 In addition, you can contact us at any time and, in justified cases, object to the processing of personal data concerning you. This applies in particular to the collection of your data for statistical recording of our web users by Google Analytics and for advertising purposes.
6.4 If you have consented to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes, you can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
7. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to websites operated by third parties, including social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. This privacy policy does not apply to the collection, processing and use of personal data by such third parties. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for the content of external websites or for compliance with data protection requirements there. 8. Changes to this data protection guideline If the content of this data protection guideline is changed, you will find the changes on this page. So that you always know what information we collect and how we use it, we will also keep older versions of the data protection guideline available here, stating their period of validity.
